Product Review: Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Mascara

I am a mascara-flirt. I don’t seem to get enough of mascara and I admit, i can’t live without curling my lashes and applying mascara. So yeah, i am always in the lookout of new mascaras in the market or i always make sure that i don’t run out of it.

i’ve been hearing about this Lash Stiletto mascara from Maybelline a long time ago, good thing it finally arrived here in PI:

wand is short, with tiny bristles arranged in a spiral which actually helps in catching the lashes better

definitely made my lashes look a lot longer, an officemate even asked me if i’m wearing falsies


what i like:
it doesn’t pull down my curl
it has little fibers which helps to lengthen lashes, but not too much with the volume
no smudging, flaking the whole day
waterproof indeed, but i used my Ponds cold cream and it came off easily
wand is small, and can be used to apply mascara on lower lashes as it catches even the smallest hairs
fairly priced at Php349.00

what i didn’t like:
it does not give that black-patent shine as it claims
it tends to clump if you apply more than 2 coats (or maybe i just need to perfect the application)
it has a bit of scent, but it goes away after a while

do i really look like i am wearing falsies?

    i also picked this up the other day. i'd say its a really good mascara and lives up to the hype. 😀

    mine doesn't get clumpy i think… i should use it more. ^^
